This very sweet dog is a German Shepherd Dog mix. She is approximately 7 years old. She was rescued from an animal shelter after her owner abandoned all of his dogs at the shelter.  At the time she was full-term pregnant and tested positive for heartworm disease.

Macy Jane went into labor early due to the stress of being in an animal shelter and her babies were too premature to survive.  She was nursed back to health herself, including being treated for the heartworm disease.

She is doing just great now and is a very sweet girl.  She is eager to please, smart and affectionate.  She deserves a better life after everything she has gone through.

The adoption fee for this dog is $150 and includes her spay surgery, microchipping, DA2PP vaccinations, dewormings, 30 day flea and heartworm control and other medical care.
