Learn more about the Labrador Retriever.
Bonnie is a very sweet young labrador retriever. She was abandoned at an animal shelter full-term pregnant and gave birth at the shelter. She and her puppies were rescued and placed in foster care until the puppies were old enoguh for adoption. Bonnie's puppies have all been adopted now and Bonnie is ready for a home of her own.
Bonnie is very shy initially with strangers (unfortunately this is made worse in the shelter environment). Once she getsto know people and when she is in a home environment she warms up to people quickly. Once she knows you she is very sweet, loving and playful. She is going to make a great companion for someone willing to give her a chance and help her work through her shyness. The adoption fee for Bonnie is $100 and includes her spay surgery, microchipping, DA2PP vaccination, Rabies vaccination, deworming, 30 day flea and heartworm control, heartworm testing (she is negative) and other medical care. If you are interested in meeting Bonnie please visit our website at http://www.casf.rescuegroups.org and fill out and return an adoption application. Once your adoption application has been approved we will coordinate a time for you to meet this sweet but shy dog who is being fostered in Woodland, CA (northwest of Sacramento in Northern California).
